The Amma Cal Pattern spiral book is the first of Icelandic textile artist and crochet designer Tinna Thorudottir Thorvaldar to be printed in English.  Tinna is internationally recognised for her mosaic crochet designs and colour work techniques.

This book has been printed in large print with clear instructions, charts and photographs of finished items.  It contains 5 mosaic crochet design square patterns, with instructions on how to create these squares in three different sized versions and how these sizes relate to one another to be able to be combined to create personalized blankets or cushions, as well as 2 of her signature border patterns.

Tinna has designed her book on a spiral binder for the convenience of the crocheter to be able to follow either her instructions or charts with her book remaining open.

The book also includes an explanation of the technique Tinna uses to join her squares for an invisible and seemless finish, with tips on how to plan ahead with your arrangement of motifs and colours.
