Please welcome another new Leather Doctor duo to our New Zealand team – Ross & Suzanne. They will operate The Leather Doctor Albany & Northland territory on the North Island.
We spoke to them about their reasons for joining The Leather Doctor and what they hope to achieve with the business.

What was it that attracted you to join The Leather Doctor business?
Ross was doing research on getting leather seats in his hot rod repaired and discovered that not many people could do what he needed and was impressed with what the Leather Doctor offered.
What did you do prior to becoming a Leather Doctor?
Ross was an Architectural Designer, whilst Suzanne has been a Bank Manager and Medical Administrator.
What territory will you manage?
We will be managing the Albany to Cape Reinga area on the North Island of New Zealand.
What do you hope to achieve during your time as a Leather Doctor?
To run a successful, profitable business through establishing satisfied clients with repeat work and new referrals.
What was it about The Leather Doctor franchise that appealed to you (so that you purchased)?
The flexibility of hours, the support of a well established and experienced company, and setting a new challenge for ourselves.
What advice would you give to someone looking to purchase a franchise?
Just do it! It’s a great opportunity and have received great support and encouragement from the Franchisor in setting up our new venture.
Tell us something interesting about yourself?
Ross has been in the building industry since he was 15. He has grown a very successful architectural business. He is passionate about hot rods and muscle cars, which he owns a few and is a presenter on the Hot Rod Show in New Zealand.
Suzanne enjoys keeping active, baking, is a keen photographer and loves spending time with her two girls.
Describe your ideal weekend?
Cruising about in the hot rod, motorbike or muscle car and spending time with family and friends. Working on renovating a bus into a RV so we can explore the country.
