Please welcome our newest Leather Doctor to our New Zealand team – Damien. He will operate The Leather Doctor Manawatu and Wanganui region territory on the North Island.
We spoke to him about his reasons for joining The Leather Doctor and what he hopes to achieve with the business.

What was it that attracted you to join The Leather Doctor business?
The attraction for me was becoming my own boss, learning new skills and joining a very unique business with an exciting future in New Zealand.
What did you both do prior to becoming a Leather Doctor?
I was an electrical and mechanical wind turbine technician.
What territory will you manage?
I will be managing the Manawatu and Wanganui region in New Zealand.
What do you hope to achieve during your time as a Leather Doctor?
I enjoy learning new skills, I hope to have a successful business with happy customers.
What was it about The Leather Doctor franchise that appealed to you?
The sense of togetherness when you talk to anyone working for the leather doctor family, everyone is very willing to share their knowledge and advice.
What advice would you give to someone looking to work in a franchise?
Take your time and do your research. Talk to other leather doctors. Discuss it with your family and if it feels right go for it.

Spending time with family and friends, fishing mountain biking watching sports
